Wedding BiographyStories: RACHELLE AND JONATHAN

Thanks for visiting our blog. Let's go back to our Memory Vault and showcase a Wedding BiographyStory that recently won a top award at our local NPVA Video Association during their annual 2008 Vista Awards. Rachelle and Jonathan decided to hire us to produce their wedding history just four days before their wedding. They had seen our work at a friend's wedding and said they had to have this at their wedding. Their emotions and their love is showcased as they talk about why they fell in love and why they are getting married. We edited in footage of their actual wedding day, the night of their wedding. Notice how their guests are mesmerized as they view this video. Enjoy !  comments

Wedding BiographyStories: MARLA AND PETER AT THE FOUR SEASONS

The interesting thing about a wedding is that there are two sets of families coming to this milestone event. One side knows the groom while the other side only knows the bride.

We love to show a video, after dinner, that highlights the history of the bridal couple and how they met. We'll add in video footage of the wedding that just took place and before you know it both families are cheering, crying, and loving what we call "The Wedding at the Wedding".

Marla and Peter had a fabulous wedding at The Four Seasons, in Boston on the magic date of 7 - 7 - 07. Marla and her Mom both agreed that the video we showed, that night, was one of the true highlights of the wedding.

Bar Mitzvah BiographyStories: ADAM SANDLER MAKES A SURPRISE GUEST APPEARANCE

Laurie and Eric Slifka wanted to do something special so that their family and friends would know the true essence of their 13  year old son, Max. They decided to have us produce a special video, shown during Max's Bar Mitzvah, that had special reflections and photographs by family members talking about Max. Max is a great hockey player and we surprised Max by having Adam Sandler, his hero, talk about Max.

The crowd at The State Room in Boston was not only wowed by Sandler's appearance but also loved seeing footage of the event edited and shown back at the end of Max's history. (just for the record, we produced Laurie and Eric's wedding 18 years ago and have been producing videos for the Slifka families for almost 20 years)

Legacy BiographyStories: LES TELLS IT LIKE IT IS!

We enjoy capturing the history of someone's life. We do not think of ourselves as videographers but more like video historians. We listen closely as people talk about their lives and one of the more enjoyable stories, we heard recently, was Les talking about how he met his wife, more than three decades ago.

Wedding BiographyStories: KARA AND JAY AT THE BOSTON HARBOR HOTEL

While many of our bridal couple like to tell their history of  how they met in a serious manner, Kara and Jay decided that they wanted their wedding guests to be entertained with their BiographyStory. Jay decided to use funny video clips to highlight his version of how he met Kara. Kara, in turn, used her own flavor of humor and the results were totally enjoyed by their wedding guests.

Kara and Jay had us include footage from The Boston Harbor Hotel to accent their Wedding at the Wedding production.

Corporate BiographyStories: TEAMING UP WITH THE RED SOX, PEPSI, AND WEEI RADIO

WEEI radio needed a 30 second advertising spot to showcase their involvement with Pepsi and the Red Sox. Our ace videographer, Jim Meegan, who also freelances as a camera person for the Red Sox, designed this fabulous high intensity video that WEEI applauded.

Wedding BiographyStories: ELISA AND STEPHEN

Elisa and Stephen were married at Temple Emanuel, in Newton. Joey Scott and the Connection wowed the crowd while Mark Karlsberg of Studio Eleven took marvelous photographs. Catering by Andrew provided a fabulous  cocktail hour and dinner, and the food was great as usual. I have videotaped numerous biography and wedding productions for Elisa's family. One of our favorite productions, for her family, was producing a biography video for her 100 year old Grandfather. Mazel Tov Elisa and Stephen!!!  comments

Bat Mitzvah BiographyStories: JILLIAN BUNIS

We produced a special history video for Jillian Bunis to help celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on April 26, 2008. Jillian enjoyed her family history by talking about her ancestors, showcasing her love of dancing and highlighting her friends and family. Congratulations Jillian !!! comments

COMING OF AGE

Being producers of Biography Stories we find there are so many different milestone events that tell the story of one's life. The most popular biographies are the stories of how a bridal couple met yet there are many other milestone events that make interesting stories. If you produce family history projects you will enjoy reading about an article I wrote for Event DV magazine that talked about Coming of Age Family Stories.
